I'm thoroughly impressed by this article. This is the first real time I've seen the whole matter of WotLK raids discussed so intelligently. Bravo. On a personal level I loved the guild-killer that was Karazhan in the early days. The fact that I could watch so many seemingly strong and solid guilds get torn asunder by the instance as well as the struggle that was trying to keep everyone together meant you really had to know what you were doing not only as a raider but also as a guild member/officer. The coordination and cooperation demanded by the instance meant you were truly rewarded with every victory. I know I might be a rare blade of grass in this backyard and I don't expect (or even want) Blizzard to cater raids to my preference. Because if it were up to me Karazhan would be but a footnote in the annals of WoW's Raiding Brick Walls. With all that said though I understand, respect and support their choices for WotLK. I'll continue to have fun. =)
