Raiding requires 1 thing... a good guild. If you have a guild of enough good players who are focused on getting something done and all don't mind sacrificing a bit to help the group, you can raid with no problem 10 ways from Sunday. Some of us aren't lucky enough to play in the right time zones or areas of the world so that we can get in to a guild like this. If you play when 80% of the population of your server is online, it's likely you can find a good guild to raid with. If you don't, you're screwed. I'm glad Blizz made it easier for casual players to clear more of the dungeons and raids, because even if you want to raid heavier stuff, sometimes you just do not have the option or the server population to do that. I also like the multiple difficulty modes of the different raids and the decreased raid population requirement. I never saw above Sunken Temple in vanilla WoW. I never saw above Gruul in BC. Here's hoping I can actually climb a little higher in the content chain in Wrath.
