I think it's great these folks found a way to do WoW _their_ way. Ignoring the whole "life/no life" discussion you have to admit that nobody else has done this. There's no achievement for it so the masses wouldn't even have considered it. I (being part of the aforementioned masses) certainly didn't.Also: I wonder which classes we'll never see in one of these "1/2-manned boss" videos?

"Also: I wonder which classes we'll never see in one of these "1/2-manned boss" videos?"My guess? Mage. When they go out of mana (and they will) they're useless. There is nothing mages can bring to 2-man that some other class couldn't, and the other class will most likely even bring some more utility.Rogues seem to be other rare class in stuff like this, but there are some after all (rogue + healer onyxia etc)What comes to soloing, protadins, DK:s and druids seem to go first. Any class with alot migitation and even the tiniest bit of selfhealing. Or the other way around, small migitation but big heals. Or something between. Healing seems to be mandatory anyways.Soloing Onyxia was a fun fight with Enhancement shaman (15 min fight and 175g loot, i'd suggest you to go try if you're playing a class that might be able to do it), but please, tell me if you see a mage or rogue doing it.

"Also: I wonder which classes we'll never see in one of these "1/2-manned boss" videos?"I doubt you'd ever see a mage doing a one- or two-person boss kill. Too squishy, not enough mana regen, no heals.

There's only one possibility that I can see of a mage having a chance at soloing one of these bosses. They would have to be arcane (mainly for slow) and kite the boss into oblivion. Another essential would be the Glyph of Evocation which would allow the mage to regen 60% of his health if he got hit. Other that that, it would still be very difficult to solo a raid boss with a mage.

This is awesome to read these "Mages are the most unlikely to duo or solo a raid boss" comments after just having watched a mage solo the military quarter. It makes my soul feel all warm and snug.

Die Uberspitzen also put a video up of a MAGE soloing the entire Military Quarter. Unfortunately Blizzard removed the method they used earlier this week.
