WoW Moviewatch: Neon Genesis WoW

Kamuraki created this opening sequence parody for Chronicle of the Annoying Quest based off Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's called Neon Genesis WoW. As a result of its anime origins, your mileage may vary according how much you consider yourself an anime fan. Still, I don't think you have to be otaku to enjoy the sequence.
I'm a character-driven story kind of guy, so I like the emphasis the movie puts on the characters. There's hints to relationships (that may or may not exist), and all kinds of questions created from even such a simple sequence. I think it works, even if Kamuraki just meant for it to be a fun parody.

I don't really care for Eva much, but most of the sequence is just the way the original is setup.

Is the original movie it's based off.
Everything else aside, it follows it really well and very well done overall especially since Eva is just one big depression rollercoster on the verge of suicide.

I've never really gotten into the Annoying Quest stuff. I used to watch them during downtime but the humor just didn't make me laugh.

Oh, that was great. I was a big fan of Evangelion back when it was out and popular.. still am I suppose. And a fan of Chronicle of the Annoying Quest.. so seeing them together is a great thing, and it's a good job.
Now, where can my character get a giant robot to pilot?

Technically very well done, though I am not familiar with the "Chronicles" (something to look up). I would have recommended perhaps some parody subtitles for the lyrics and changing the text on the screen to make it more in line with WoW.
Of course that's just me

OK, what the hell was the Sefirot doing in the original series? Damn, I may have to watch Evangelion now.
Great parody. If I was nit-picking I'd say that the flashes of text at the end need to be about half the duration, but I'm not. Honest.
