At first I disagreed with your argument, but then I realised you had a point - while Ghostcrawler's brutal truths are preferable to a silver-tongued spin maestro, a sensible balance between the two should be possible. Hell, they could probably get the same effect by just having GC a quick seminar on communication skills. For those who are arguing that the childish whiners should just shut up... some of those who play this game are indeed children. Some of 'em are people who just take a game a little more seriously than is perhaps good for them. When you do have a player base of 11 million, you have to expect a bit of variety. I can take brutal truths. You can too, probably. Plenty of the player base can't, or just don't wish to, and perhaps a little softening of tone might stop a fair bit of QQ and screams. There'd still be trolls who chose to stir just because they could, of course, but it might actually help. As to the actual changes... yeah, painful, but not unexpected, though some will hurt more than others. But that's what the test realms are for, right?
