"My fellow RPers, let's be honest. How many people on your server would be swapping to Draenei for a few months for some bizarre demon posession and/or impregnation storyline, then going back to Human or Night Elf whatever later. It would be a lot of people."
Hahaha! Spot on, my friend. :)

I don't really get why you say "my dear FELLOW RPers" but seem to completely support this ridiculous notion of gender change, as if that is something that would fit into an RP environment.

You see... after changing your character's sex, he or she is gone. Dead. Disappeared. Vanished. What you have there is a new character, but with the same class and skill set. Even with the same gear. Tell me, how many characters have you let to die? I haven't any. Why? Because it would suck to be able to only run around OOCly with the character you spent months, or even years, of work in. With this, you can.

Aaah, in a perfect world. How many lycans do you have on your server? Demon possessed sex goddesses? Do you really think they will implement this 'correctly'. Here is my, fairly educated, prediction. HAI I CHANGED SEX!
- Well my friend, how very interesting, I did not know such a thing was possible, pray tell how did you go about this?
- LOLOLOL GOBLIN MACHINE
or
- LOLOLOLOL MAGIC
Am I afraid that RPers will do it wrong? No. Am I afraid this is catering to the lolboys on the RP server who just want to fap over their female draenei but rolled a male? Yes.

If someone comes at you and blasts such utter nonsense, why are you even talking to this "thing", if you are a decent RPer? /ignore is a handy tool, use it.

I consider no one 'a thing' thank you, and I am not going to start thinking of people that way. My ignore list is empty, as it should be, since I believe in second chances.
My remark is purely based on my own view that Blizzard cares little about the integrity of the game, and more about their money. I foresee all these difficulties, and I will not ignore it because they are part of my environment and server. I am really sick of players having to turn the other cheeck or put everyone on ignore simply because Blizzard chooses to not consider what such a change will bring, well, I guess they do consider it but care little.
And the next time someone whines about gold spam, I will answer them the same, that their whine is not valid, because hey, you can ignore. And if you close your eyes and pretend something is not there it goes away right? Well, not with me. That is where we are different then.
