That's the problem with being an outside and not a programmer. You don't understand how easy it would be from a programming standpoint. WoW is a big database. Using a SELECT statement, one can select the faction fields of interest to examine the values. Then, using the UPDATE statement, one changes the fields. Going from human to dwarf? Easy update to all factions subtracting 10%. Looking at my human, dwarf, gnome, and draenei (yeah, no horde, deal with it) toons, there are no special factions unique to the alliance races. If there was, easy. You want to switch, those special factions start at neutral zero. The only case I can see on alliance side is draenei in Shatt (which shouldn't be an issue now that wrath is out). And isn't an issue since draenei are free to visit Arcanist Adyria and switch from Aldor to Scryer, grind eyeballs, signets, and armaments. Again, easy AH purchases if you don't want to grind the rep drops.
