I agree, call out loot rules ahead of time. I just didn't know ANY of the loot table, only that my +hit was pathetic. :(

Better yet... before you pass in a pug, make sure you don't want it. If you do want it, you have 2 minutes to debate it with the group before you pass on it. Like the warlock, I would have sharded that quickly if everyone passed and not even remotely thought you would have wanted the trinket given its on-use effect. Of course I woulndn't have thought twice about letting you have it if you asked for it or complained had you needed it.
