Leveling an alt is pretty easy the problem is for new players. No money and no idea what your doing plus 80 levels to get to play with other people for the most part. Most people solo level alts so a new player isn't going to do any instances of find hardly anyone to play with for the better part of six months if they are lucky.
On another note blizz needs to consider the /level command from DAoC. If you have a full level characterthen you can /level all your other characters to say 65-70.
You can argue that they need those levels to learn how to play their character but in my opinion no one learns how to play until they group with others especially healers and tanks which the game drastically needs.
