One of the things I remember with the least amount of fondness is unconnected flight paths. There wasn't the clicking a destination halfway across the world and going to do something productive while you waited. No, you had to stare at your character flying to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time, unless you had all the flight path times memorized and played that way. *shrug* I'm so glad those days go byebye

I started playing early enough to remember this too. Oh it was awful, just awful.
There were a lot more server problems back then too.
After I first started playing, I quit when I hit level 40 or so. When I came back (After BC), the game wasn't the same game I had started playing so long ago.

Wow yeah, I had forgotten about that. Had to try to remember which flight points went where.
