I don't miss the days before meetingstones - looking for one more person to a Dire Maul tribute run, and you had to fly from SW/IF to Feralas (and might even get thrown off the boat at Menethil and die, getting a free corpse run and retarded repairs). And then realise someone forgot to bring rune thread or whatever for the gordok ogre suit.. >.<

I don't miss having to collect 4 different resistance sets because you HAD to have 100+ Nature / Fire / Shadow resistance or you couldn't apply to a raid as a healer. Where having more than 4 free slots in your inventory at any given time was a luxury.
