I only even make an effort at correcting someone when they're just not spelling an in-game word right. There was some guy on my realm advertising his Blacksmith services in the MAGNUS QUARTER. I guess he likes x-men a lot and doesn't know much about mages, but the guy isn't saying it wrong any more and I assume that's working out well.
I only really get bugged by people who say "wat". Is the H key too hard to find? Is there a legitimate reason why people say "wat" instead of "what"? I haven't figured it out, and I make an effort at not associating with these people because I can only assume they're either really lazy or really stupid or both. I can tolerate a lot of in-game poor typing but that one really pushes my buttons.

Not to speak for anyone else, but I usually use "wat" as a humorous version of the actual word. Like when something has you so gobsmacked you can't do anything but stare dumbly and say "...wat?"
