Breakfast Topic: What's the First thing you did when you got to Dalaran?

Everywhere you turn, there's something interesting going on, and every shop has its own life. The Architecture is an amazing blend of human and elven styles that looks to have organically evolved from a rich magical culture, and the atmosphere is lively without descending into the constant laughing and lag inducing sparring of the Aldor and the Shattered Sun Offensive that plagued Shattrath's outer ring. It also feels livelier and more city-like than Shattrath's strangely alien fortress and adjoining shanty town.
With that in mind, the first time I got to Dalaran on Beta, I definitely did a lot of just running around, taking in everything and searching through the nooks and crannies... and taking the time to /rude that Mary Sue, Rhonin. After all that, I went and bought myself an ultra cool Ghostly Skull from the sewers for my pet collection. I have yet to decide if he's more of a Murray or a Morte though.
So I'm interested to know, besides running around and gaping at the pretty scenery, what was the first thing you did in Dalaran? What was the first gadget or trinket you indulged in? How magical was your first trip?

The first thing I did when I got to Dalaran was LAG...LAG...LAG...LAG... brand new gaming computer...LAG...LAAAAAAAAAAAAAG....LAG
It's so frustrating I only go to Dalaran when I absolutely have to. I even stopped doing the cooking dailys because it was taking over an hour to do a quest that shouldn't take more than 10 minutes due to the insane lag.

Was teleported there by a friend of mine at 70 so I could start my alt on jewelcrafting dailies. Set my hearthstone, grabbed the cooking daily, ran around the sewers picking up mushrooms, picked up a bottle that turned me into a walrus, wandered around the city for a good 15 minutes trying to figure out where the guy was to turn in the cooking daily.
Grabbed the JC daily, ran to the flight master... realized I didn't have any connecting flight paths to get back to either of the level 70 zones to actually DO the JC daily.
Then ran to the other side and took the portal to Stormwind so I could take the boat back to Borean Tundra, do the daily and hearth back to Dalaran to turn it in.

@ all those complaining about computer stuff and dalaran,
I run a well-maintained decent machine and it's still a problem. Obviously a better computer is better, but you're going to experience delays no matter what because of the poor way in which things are pre-loaded.
Just stay still for a few moments while it finishes loading all the other players and things and it'll be fine.

my first time, I just gaped at the lag.. 10fps when I was getting 40-70 in HJ..
I've been there for 4 levels now and haven't seen anything you guys talk about, guess I should go somewhere besides the portal chamber to fp.

I haven't looked at much of Dalaran since the game turns into a slide show in that city.

Set my hearthstone there, took portal quest, ported down, ported up, completed portal quest, ran back to Howling Fjord to keep leveling.

I got there the night WotLK was released, before all the crowds, and fished peacefully in the fountain. It may never happen again.
