Turn off shadows. It'll boost fps by a massive amount.

Shadows are off, every single video setting is on it's lowestStill makes no difference, 512mb RAM and a bad graphics card can't really handle Dalaran in it's ugliest form

Stick to Pac Man imo

@PimpyMicPimp : shut up.I'm in approximately the same boat - 512 of ram, and a geforce 4 ti 4200 video card. Obsolete stuff. The only way i found to go to dalaran without getting instant-disconnected is to deactivate a few addons, principally QuestHelper, who use tons of memory compared to all of other addons.

1. Take a break from WoW.2. Get a job. 3. Earn some money.4. Upgrade your computer.5. Quit job and go play WoW again.

yeah... i know how it feels, even though i have 2 gb of ram ive got an intel gma 950, the ram helps handling dalaran, but its still laggy :(

Aged 15 and in the middle of important exams, getting a job isn't really something I'm looking to do anytime soon

Yup. The first thing I did when I got to Dalaran? Get the flight path. The second? Leave.
