The extra mitigation (even if you are already defense capped) is paramount for DK tanks. We have no shield to block with, so we rely on parry/dodge to mitigate our damage. Also, our Icebound Fortitude will now scale up with defense, so if used in parallel with this Sigil proc you could increase the damage reduction of this spell. It is very useful for all DK tanks, defense capped or not.
