I remember an interview with Metzen where he told the story of how he got working with Blizzard (though it had a different name at the time). He heard some place would pay him to draw, so he went there, and just looking around the office at the posters on the wall and the employees playing around, before he even knew what it was the company did he knew he wanted to work there. And that was back when they were just a small company in a normal office.

You can tell why Blizzard does good work, I would too if I was someplace that absolutely awesome.
