As another military guild on another server, we're seeing the mentioned problems pretty much all the time. Most of us base our play-style on the core values, honor, integrity, friendship, and excellence. Guilding members becomes hard, here, especially with "civilians", where a "move, ladies" on Vent is misconstrued as "being yelled at" instead of the tone we're all used to in our daily jobs, and where greed and the "I need this (some Item)" stance of a few can seriously disrupt the guild's cohesion. We're going about it by being very picky (which is hard, Misha-US has the worst recruiting pool I've seen in my four years of playing) and having zero tolerance towards bigots and loot-centric players. It's great to see, that someone else is doing the same thing - Hooah, guys!
