... because much if it is on level with raid progression gear and while you can queue up for a BG by yourself you can't just saunter into a Wrath instance solo and farm your own gear. For those of us with that play at low-population hours or have casual, smaller guilds, often PvP gear is the only progression after max level quest rewards.
