I have played about 1 year of Wow and when I reached 70 with my first high level char I made it an art to find, get and put on - some decent gear. I took what was within reach. I tried arena also. Now, with another second high level char, I took that to 80, I see theres more options or you can buy at AH, get from professions, much better gear for your level than before wotlk. Now I was able to make 20k honor within a day, before it was like 5-10k with more time used. And the restrictions with certain BG marks you earlier had to pay are gone.Anyway, theres still an imbalance in the game when the arena 'veterans' goto BG's or go out in the world to kill.I dont whine because my char die alot, but I'm clever enough to realize that gear is what counts and that most of the best geared people got theirs by playing arena. And those same people also go out in the world and get instances done and get some specific gear items for even better gear or more sets of gear.I can't compete with that. Period. Arena 'veterans' got it first, they win...After playing more years of Wow, or at least similar years of arena as the other 'veteran' guy - then I would stand a chance.Another option is to pay a guy for a service of putting gear on my char, but that I pass. Last option is to go suffer in the arena and play, play until the ratings go high - yeah - first they go very low. But how I get time to explore more Wow world and time to level professions then. And get my reputations up, get my recipes and enchants... Oh, well - I know - I'm 3 years behind. You win...
