You're right on about the back to back instances. On raid nights, after raid I'll get in a heroic group with my guild and we'll knock out 3 or 4 without a break. On the weekends, it's not unusual to run 6 or more with the same group. The relatively shorter instances helps, but I think the tabard-rep system is the biggest reason for this. Before one person wanted to grind Sha'tar, one wanted Cenarion, one wanted Lower City rep etc. and people were particular about the instances they ran. Now you just slap on your tabard and they're all good. GG Blizzard!
