Around Azeroth: All I want for Christmas is a pile of corpses
This picture, taken in Ironforge by Zenaik of <Alts Anonymous> on Turalyon, shows that the power of the holiday spirit quickly pales next to the prospect of acquiring a Black War Bear. But I suppose that peace on Earth and good will towards men can take another one for the team again this year, hmm?
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.Filed under: Screenshots, Around Azeroth, Galleries

All depends on when you run it. We did a 40-man weekday early afternoon run when I got my bear on Thunderhorn.
Undercity was NPCs only, no player defenders
Blood Elf city had one or 2 defenders besides the NPCs
Ogrimmar was a hard fight because of all the guards, but there were very few defenders who could hit us (most were low level who had the sense to stay quiet)
Ironically Thunderbluff was the hardest as by then we had some resistance to face
Of course if we had run it in the evening or on a weekday, they doubtlessly would have slaughtered us

D'oh I meant we would have been slaughtered if we ran it on a *weekend, not weekday

What seems to be the same Horde raid has been trying to down IF for the past few nights without any success. Closest they seem to have gotten was 60% before about 50 Alliance 80s ported in from Dalaran.
Kudos for trying though.
I managed to get mine in a PUG raid (like most I imagine). Went well; TB was pretty hard (turned into a lag fest) and Org had maybe 9/10 defender but the rest was a breeze. Funnily enough, the only city I didn't get the achievement for killing enemies in their own towns was SC, where no one bothered to turn up.

Forgot to add, that's on Stormrage (EU).

I once watched an alliance raid that was killing the BE leaders. Since I was a disc priest who wasn't max level, I doubt I could have done anything. There was also the fact that I was getting 3 fps, and then WoW crashed.

This looks alarmingly similar to the Throne Room of Ironforge last night on Moon Guard server.
