I would say casual is possible but not likely. The paradox of WotLK is I don't see any group happy. The more serious raiders are bored/disappointed and basically done till the new content arrives. I know a new guild that is not top-10 Alliance on this server and they have had mal/10 on farm for 3 weeks. OTOH, all the movement/coordination/"dances" make it much harder for Pugs and groups that have not worked together.
So could a group be dedicated enough to spend the time to learn the coordination and practice wiping until they all get it, yet not so dedicated they are hardcore/serious and want a like-minded guild? Yeah. But it doesn't seem like that would be a high percentage of the players.
