Ewww, 40 mans. I personally play on a laptop which, sadly, only has about 512 MB of RAM (Hopefully getting more for Christmas). Anyway, I lag hard in 25 mans, so with 40s, healing would be impossible. Also, I've tried 40 mans to raid Org and such, and there was constantly someone in the bathroom, or walking the dog, or just not responding to ready checks.

Tl;dr version: 40 mans existed before blizzard had interesting fights; They're gone for a reason.
