Teaming up with a holy priest (I am a rogue), I have actually found it very possible to beat any double dps combination except for frost mage / rogue. Everyone says this arena season is nothing but gib, but I have to disagree. A good healer can still hang with the dps classes. At least in the 2's and 3's brackets.

This is wildly untrue of 5's. It's a complete gibfest, with little to no opportunity for creative LOS/Heal techniques.
