I totally agree with this article. I have a level 80, but my low level alts all loot everything they find. This makes them pretty much self-supporting once their rich uncle has bought them some 16-slot bags :-).

A couple of extra tips for banker alts ...

1. Think about what you're storing in your bank slots. After the first couple of bags, you're paying 25g per bag slot + the bag cost. How much is it costing you in bank space to keep stocked up on Murloc Eyes?

2. If you've filled all your bank bag slots with 16-slotters, then the cheapest way to get extra bank space is to create a guild just for your banker alt and buy guild bank tabs. (The cost per bag slot of moving to 18 or 20 slot bags is much more than the cost per slot of a guild bank).
