Rage against the -ism

There are many ism's in life. Sexism, classism, ageism, racism... the list goes on. Everyone has a different view on the matter, and we've had some lively debates. Amanda Dean covered the topic of Sexism in the World of Warcraft back in February, and I examined racism in arena team names back in May.

No matter what one's views on the given subject is, it is important to realize and acknowledge the prevalence of these ideas into the virtual reality in which we play. It's likely that as more people play WoW we'll see more relevance placed on the various ideas people bring to the table.
