You also need to realize that what happens in the US has a much smaller impact than what happens overseas in Asia.Asia has a huge percentage of the playerbase, around 50% worldwide i believe, and a different pay model. If people want to stop playing wow for starcraft II for example (which is a high possiblity). The subscriptions will drop instantaneously by a large margin.Blizz will be the ones to take out WoW (as i said above). I think that putting in arthas now, SC II, Diablo 3, and the Nex-Gen MMO are all apart of an idea. That with these three games WoW will die out, and lose over half its playerbase. Now this may take two to three years. But i see one to two more expansions before the end. Emerald Dream, and one 'final' chapter to the warcraft saga as we know it, going to a distant world to take the fight to the burning legion.Thats my prediction.
