Well said. I am on your side as far as swipe threat. I still cringe being asked to tank H UP and even H HoS due to the events, while my guildies tell me that the problem is my skill "Just spam swipe!" I have to tell them "It's not that easy..." and our AoE taunt CD is 2.5mins with the glyph so it can usually only be used once per encounter. The growl range has helped to some extent though. The mob pathing problems are the biggest problem though IMO, and I don't really see them changing it. I'm still not entirely sure how to use Savage Roar to maximum effectiveness. Do I pop it with 2 combo points so I can get a full 5 faster or wait till 5 and not have to worry about re-popping it for a while. I must say Cat form has been buffed extremely for PvP, I'm having TONS of fun in BGs so far, even with my crafted PvP gear. I'm planning on starting 2s with a rogue even though I previously despised Arena. All and all I'm liking feral in Wrath, and am hesitant to the new changes coming up with armor and FAP. The biggest problem I see is, with dual-specs, we effectively have to choose between 4 specs while all the other classes only have to choose between 3. But I guess that's what we get for picking the original "jack-of-all-trades" class.

Ravage+Mangle should get you 3-4 CPs, pop SR (don't Rake before having SR up, if the openers didn't crit, rather mangle again, it's cheaper, esp. since you'd want to re-apply Rake after having SR anyway), then try to get into a good Rip/SR rotation, with 4-5 CPs for each finisher, losing some seconds to SR rebuff is ok, but of course you can wait for your energy to go up again. Make haste though if both Rake and Rip are running out. While zerking, forget Rip and use FB to finish, of course while still keeping Mangle (where no Arms Warrior present), Rake and SR up.

Oh and of course Shred is the skill to spam while everything else is up, unless you didn't spec for it (most tank specs won't) then spam Mangle instead.Fight like Thaddius make this "rotation" even worse, since in addition to the position problems (you can't be behind the mob all the time) you also have to note the bonus damage from the charges, since DoT damage is evaluated when applied, it's not affected by charge stacks gained or lost afterwards. So, don't Rake/Rip immediately after a charge change, even if yours didn't change, the extra damage won't kick in until after some seconds, watch your debuffs. Rather re-apply shortly before the charge change, if there are only some seconds left from the previous application. Perfect time to Mangle and put SR back up again though.

Thanks for the help! I'm slowly getting it. I don't dps much in instances. When I'm PvPing I usually don't pop SR so I often forget I even have the skill when I rarely DPS :P
