In-game drama should not ever turn into real-life drama. I can't totally judge anyone on this since the "thread" which led up to the blizz employee hitting the "panic" button isn't posted.
But as a parent, an email with the thread tipping me off would have been plenty. I got one of those "emails" before when my son used bad language at someone..embarassing, yes..but at least i addressed it with him afterwards.
One of my thoughts is..if someone were really "suicidal" then wouldn't something like this kinda "push them over the edge"?
("it's all i have to live for" = take it away and arrest you..hmm)
The other thought i had was "how can it be a threat to someone else if you're threatening yourself?"
