WRUP: Home from the holidays edition

Adam Holisky: Finding some time to actually play the game. During that precious time I'll be leveling up my dual boxed recruit-a-friend Hunter and Paladin. Level 20 in 5 hours! Woo!
Alex Ziebart: Staying true to my resolution from yesterday's Breakfast Topic and working on PvP. I'm Shadow in raids, and switch back to Disc right after to dig into Wintergrasp and the BGs. I uh, don't have an arena team yet, which makes that 'don't suck at arenas' part hard to accomplish, but I'm getting there! I actually remembered that I have to switch glyphs around when I respec today. Glyph of Shadow doesn't do a lot for me when I'm Discipline, does it? Glyph of Power Word: Shield and Glyph of Dispel Magic on the other hand...
And the rest of the team? Keep reading!
Allison Robert: Running yet another (probably fruitless) heroic Sethekk in pursuit of the raven mount, and (in deference to my New Year's WoW resolution) leveling an alt.
Chase Christian: Grinding honor in premade Strand of the Ancient groups for the wicked expensive Deadly off-set gear.
Christian Belt: Dailies, dailies, dailies. And then...probably some more dailies. PvP, Cooking, rep quests, it's all good as far as I'm concerned. Also, I'll do a bit of questing in Storm Peaks and/or Icecrown so that I can finish off the Loremaster of Northrend achievement and tailor myself a nice new cloak. No Mage is complete without a sexy cape.
Daniel Whitcomb: I finally hit the Defense cap, or close enough to it, that I am running heroic dungeons, and I'm hoping to have enough badges for the tanking belt by the end of the month. I'm also working on my much neglected Oracle faction so I can finally start buying Mysterious Eggs and trying for a Green Protodrake.
Dan O'Halloran: Like Adam I am leveling a Hunter/Paladin duo using Recruit-a-friend. Also continuing to level my feral cat Druid who is now 75 while trying not to go broke respeccing to Resto or Balance when I run an instance. Did Violet Hold for the first time and loved it. Going to run it again for the key. Will continue Wintergarde quest chain in Dragonblight to finish Wrathgate line.
Elizabeth Harper: Raid sign-ups look like I'm the only healer available for Obsidian Sanctum tonight. This should be... interesting!
Elizabeth Wachowski: I'll be finishing up quests in Sholazar and hopefully getting closer to 80 on my main. If the queues continue as bad as they have on my server, though, I'll probably be freaking myself out by playing Bioshock on my new 360.
Krystalle Voecks: I'm going to try to catch up to my other half's shaman this weekend, and just enjoy a relaxing weekend of not-holiday-insanity.
Lisa Poisso: Contemplating Naxx and wondering how we got here so fast ... and how long we can make this last.
Mike Schramm: Hit 80 this week, so now going back to do Kalu'ak rep, then Oracles, and eventually go for one of the protodrake mounts.
Matt Low: Debating leveling my third healer (Paladin).
Michael Sacco: Driving back to Texas, where I'll see glorious broadband and my poor neglected WoW.exe again.
Matthew Rossi: Leveling my DK when I have time. The other stuff I mentioned before.
Robin Torres: I'll be leveling the Mage some more through Outland, but I'm also feeling like playing one of my DKs this weekend. The only question is: Gnome or Forsaken?
And what are you playing this weekend?

Playing my DK and started my own guild. Mainly with friends, however we will see how that pans out, cause don't have a vent server lol. Trying to get my DK to 80 :P

Dan, you don't have to run VH for the key. At 75, you talk to Rhonin, he'll send you to someone outside VH, who'll give you the key and a quest to kill Cyanigosa.

Might be talking about the weapon called "The Key" in Heroic VH that drops from Lavanthor.

Since he mentioned his Druid was level 75, I'd imagine he's not talking about a heroic drop and that this advice will be well received.

I'm grinding with my dual-box mage and priest 80 in Storm for some gold. I also switched my priest from disc to holy. So far holy is more useful. I'll also be playing my new prot warrior with my wife's retadin in Howling.

Getting my prot warrior H-ready (maybe even Naxx ready) now that I finally got my ass into gear to ding him to 80.
Thinking Mr. Rossi needs to give some more Warrior love at the moment...
And continue grinding out my new Shammy as a between-friends race to 40.

Debating with myself what I want my shaman's spec to be.
Ending up changing it five times every ten levels. Trend will likely continue.
Seeing just how much I can amuse and annoy people on our Sunday Naxx venture.
Debating with myself whether or not level my hunter who's in Outland at the moment.
Debating with myself whether or not finally buying the epic flying this week was a good idea or not.
And just generally, debating with myself about WoW decisions. Whether or not it is sane doing it 4.40 AM.

Currently, I'm deciding whether or not to completely focus on an alt to level up, which could mean either getting my DK all set with old world herbs and skinning and heading straight for outland finally or starting that paladin or warrior I've been thinking of making. I'll probably go with the pally or warrior due to my dislike of having to do outland so soon after completing it the first time (I hit 70 about three months before wrath. Hated doing Hellfire and Blade's Edge.)

I think I'm going to play the Witcher, I just got the enhanced edition.

Hit 80 yesterday so now while I still hate the thought of being miles behind on the raid front and other ppl having at least 2 80s by now, I at least can breath relieved that I am 80. While I have loads to do I can kinda relax now, at least I'm not racing the levels to not feel like a noob who's not max Lv.
As for my game plans I'll be hitting revered with Oracles for the egg, working my Wyrmrest/SoH rep. Gather defense gear, join some raids, farm the last bit for epic flying. If there is room, while unlikely, I want to "fix up" my 71 rogue for further progress (respec/glyphs/bindings/bars redo, maybe gender change from UD fem to male).
And While I do find my Lv12 huntard fun, I still have a fresh 80 who needs loving and a 71 who needs levels. /QQ

@ Matt - That's so funny. We have a guy in our guild with 3 healers to his name and that's all he does. He has a holy priest, holy pally, and resto druid. I think he likes his druid best now.
I'll be grinding instances for the heroic achievements. We started doing some last night, but some times the quality of players needed is a little hard to grab on friday. I need to do dailies for kalu'ak/SoH/Frenzyheart, but we'll see if that happens. Lol.

I have so much to do in WoW right now that I don't even know where to start. I have alts to level (including two DKs), a main who's not quite to 80 yet, mats to farm and professions to skill up, achievements to work on, and gear runs to do....
Mr42 Jan 3rd 2009 8:32AM
rep grind. yay!
