I thought the trees from Crystal Song were a result of the redirected magic underneath them heading to Colderra.

If you notice there is one Great Tree that is unblemished and it doesn't lie over an arcane nexus line. While the other crystal tree's lie directly over such lines heading towards the Nexus and Colderra.

The redirected ley lines are the reason the trees are smashed and floating me thinks,
but the whole crystalized part is from that spell
