It never fails to amuse me, the number of people prophetizing the imminent closure of WoW. WoW is a huge money maker for Activision. Now a few members of the development team may be feeling a little bored or burnt out from working on WoW, but is that reason enough to cut such a huge source of revenue? As far as competition from future MMO's, I pray we see a worthy competitor soon. As much as I love WoW, lack of any serious competition has made the game show signs of stagnation. Innovation and creativity often needs the motivation of a threat from an external source.
