Blizzard releases EU Wrath launch video

Unfortunately, the US site hasn't posted any such video yet, so while you can definitely read here on this site about all of the crowds and chaos that went down on this side of the world, there's no video to compare. My guess is that while the EU folks were definitely excited, over there it was more contained to the big events and the big cities, while over here in the US even small towns had lines outside the gaming stores.
But it was definitely a night to remember for WoW fans, no matter where you were.

While I enjoy playing a bit of Warcraft. This is the type of stuff I would just call sad.
I guess they're having fun though right.

Of course when a football fan goes to every single match their team plays, dresses up as their favourite player and cheers wildly every time, to paraphrase Bill Baily, "one of those overpaid, potential rapists shephards a bit of leather into a net" they're referred to as a "fan".
When a WoW player or fantasy/sci fi fan dresses up for a once a year event or convention they're called a "geek", "ghey" or "sad".
What an odd world we live in...

Oh no worries, the line-ups were not only in the special WotLK opening cities. Lot's of stores opened at 12 o' clock in the Netherlands, in cities all over the place.

Oh so thats who those guys with the cameras were......
Looks like a lot of the other European cities had a lot of fun. In london we just queued around the building for 3 hours. It smelt of bins. Wish we'd had some events!

In the UK's smaller towns it was the same, all the locals shops were out of stock almost immediately.
