Actually, some of us have had it with PvP servers and wanted the relaxing play that PvE servers give. I started the game (when it first went live) on the Mal'Ganis server, playing Horde. It was fun, so long as you had a guild, or knew people.
After about a year & a half, it started to get insane. Not to mention our guild started to fracture and there was no one to really help (unless you were lucky and other faction members felt like helping out).
So I would say that PvP servers are fun to play on if you have friends you play with or a guild to help you out. But after going back and trying to play some of my characters there now? The nuts have truly taken over the asylum.
I still enjoy the choice of PvP'ing (Lake Wintergrasp anyone?), but wouldn't really enjoy the constant threat of being slaughtered while trying to level an alt on a PvP server these days.
