You will use them for the original purpose intended: purchasing minor buffs for use in Storm Peaks, which .. um .. will work in Ulduar, giving you just a tiny bit of a boost to a brand new and supposedly tougher instance.

Keep saving them. Buy the buffs, and use them in Ulduar.
