So thats what happened to all the Locks?

Gothia, that's exactly what happened - most of the locks I know rerolled DK and I can't really blame 'em. Myself, I rolled a Druid, so I basically went from DOTs to HOTs. =P

My main used to be a warlock, but since Wrath, i changed, like many others, to a DK as a main. It's lvl 80 and i had no trouble lvling it. But when i play my former main, i cant be really interested in lvling it. And the biggest reason for me is that i can't lvl it, is because i love the feeling of cutting something down, with my awesome 2handed sword.

Yes, the kids that rolled warlocks so they could grief other people on PvP servers quickly jumped to the new OP FOTM class.PvE locks stayed.

My Lock only made lvl 56 when WOTLK came out. It was enough to unlock my Orc DK and I've not looked back on the Lock. DK is 80 and the Lock has had very little attention. Now I'm working on a Druid. That looks fun.

Actually, sephirah... I was always a PvE 'lock, and after coming back to wow from being gone for a year (prior to that, I'd played a lock since WoW was in beta) and rolling a DK... well... let's just say I like wearing plate, and still having DoTs

Well this is exactly what happened to me. I had a level 70 Druid and Level 70 Lock - while waiting for wrath had been doing a lot of PvP so I had both with very cool PvP gear on - The lock PvP 70 gear looks sweet (80 not so much).Anyway with everyone running their 70s in Outland, I thought I would try the death knight - ended up doing an all nighter - Had to fly out for a meeting the day after the release. Anyway I hit 60 with the DK. When I got back I wanted to see how the quests would be in outland - blew through it. By the time I hit 68 and was popping to outland, my guild members were at 72 - 74. I caught them around 77 and just out of respect for the one guild member, waited on 1 bubble to go 80 after him.So now my main is a DK, I have my lock to 71 and my druid is almost - I drop back and play them a bit, but now at 80 I am constantly looking for heroics. The druid was my first long drag to 70, learning about alot of things. My Lock was next and I leveled him quite fast since I was familiar with the quests. I have been on wow for just over a year now, so I never had a long long time dedicated to a toon. I am torn I would like to level my druid and lock, but it's hard not to rep grind and run heroics for emblems.

Yeah I did the DK thing first, got it to 80 no problem. It was fun and melee has usually been more my thing. I discovered I was wrong. Once I raided a couple times on him I went "hey, these are some long fights, I wonder what affliction can do to them?". And promptly leveled my real main warlock up to 80.Warlock has been my main since I started in Jan '05 and I was just not ready to let it go.

well, I seem to be the odd man out, i still play my lock and love him very much. i leveled one level a day after wrath and was the 8th in my guild to 80. i've never really gotten into pvp on my lock, so i don't really care about us being horrible at it. (even tho i do have three =pieces of deadly gladiator from heroic archavon. i've played a DK, but i find leveling on him slow compared to FG/SL and without better gear i can't even solo some of the quests i soloed at lower levels on my lock. for right now i have a DK parked at 65 leveling his proffessions.
