WoW Moviewatch: Insane Gouge Crits 7

PvP-oriented videos aren't really the usual fare for WoW Moviewatch. I admit I watch a lot of them myself, though, mostly trying to pick up tips and tricks for the Arena. So, when I came across Insane Gouge Crits: 7 by Buddhist, I was pleasantly surprised.
Don't get me wrong -- this is a PvP video, with all the action of "I sneak up on a guy and crit him" that you'd expect from that kind of rogue action. But that being said, Buddhist put a lot of work into making this PvP video more interesting that others you might see. It definitely stands out from its fellows in terms of the opening and closing sequences, both of which hint at movie-esque stories happening behind the scenes.
I think this shows that it is possible to bring PvP videos up to the thought and art of more full machinima. There's voice acting, framing, and thought put into scenery. It's definitely a step up, and I would encourage Buddhist to keep bringing his PvP exploits to another level.

Actually there is -some- skill in timing the stuns correctly. And rogues aren't really that OP, just devious. Every class has it's own abilities to counter rogues.
Of course, being rogues, we're kinda forbidden from feeling sorry for you. We are -meant- to be heartless b*tards.

LoL, Mane. Speaking as an ex-rogue...we love killing people like you, it makes being a rogue 10x funner. It's like we can sense you punching your keyboard as we stunlock you to death.

I think what Mane is trying to say here is that compared to other classes in a 1v1 environment, rogues are overpowered.
BTW, Blizz has stated that they are ok with 1v1 being unbalanced.
The techniques used in the video are smart choices for one on one, but wouldn't work too well with other enemies around.

hmm...well i don't play a rogue...but i do have a feral druid alt that at lvl 73 gets rake crits of around 1000. I'm sure at lvl 80 against ungeared targets...it'd scale around the same..nothing to see here...just keep on movin...

If you were part of the rogue community, and knew buddhist...you would understand. He's not right in the head, but then again I dont belive any rogues are 100% sane.

Annnnyway, it was an... interesting video minus the whole "ooo look at the pretty, big numbers" Had foe dramatic narration continued through out the piece (or at least a little bit more in the middle) then it would have help a lot more entertainment.
Course I'm bias, pvp vids I dont really care for. The only one I every like is the immortal "Big Blue Dress"

I didn 't enjoy this video at all. It was boring and the crits were very low and not exciting. I do 7k white dmg. 12k-19k crits. Make a video with those and I'll watch it.
Of course he is a rogue......so I take it all back.

Yeah I wasn't a fan, but of course I love PvP videos and find machinima videos just downright boring so I'm probably not the target audience of this post!
