"Blizzard is happy with Rogues as a whole"That's a misleading statement. They have been saying that Rogue damage is low, and that it should look better in this patch with the other class nerfs. Allow me to emphasize the word "look". That doesn't mean Rogues were buffed, and that doesn't mean they will be where Blizzard wants them, just that everyone should be closer. I didn't see nerfs to some of the classes that I was expecting, so I suspect Rogues will still be low compared to the "utility" they bring to the raid. The biggest benefit to Rogues in this patch is that the removal of bugs will allow Blizzard (and theorycrafters) the ability to evaluate Rogue performance without a number of bugs skewing the results. And that is just Assassination. Blizzard has commented multiple times that they're not pleased with Combat.
