Free character moves for Europe

Horde-only:
- Source: Magtheridon
- Destination: Haomarush, Trollbane, Zenedar
Alliance-only:
- Source: Aszune, Emerald Dream, Runetotem, Shadowsong, Silvermoon
- Destination: Magtheridon
So, I guess Magtheridon has too much Horde. WarcraftRealms is showing a shocking 1:67 Alliance:Horde ratio. Yikes!
There are also several non-faction-specific moves available:
- Burning Legion, Crushridge -> Vek'nilash, Xavius
- Sylvanas, Twilight's Hammer -> Bladefist, Karazhan
- Al'Akir, Grim Batol -> Burning Steppes, Haomarush
- Kazzak, Stormscale -> Dentarg, Lightning's Blade
- Outland, Ravencrest -> Boulderfist, Trollbane
-
Ragnaros, Stormreaver -> Agamaggan, Daggerspine
-
Argent Dawn -> Darkmoon Faire, Steamwheedle Cartel, The Sha'tar
These transfers opened up yesterday, and are scheduled to be open until Tuesday, January 20th. However, transfers can and will be shut down early if the desired populations are reached, so transfer as soon as possible if you want to. And again, these are for the European realms.

I'm sure it's just because Kungen and Ensidia are on Magtheridon...

And the winner for the most obvious statement of the day goes to...

"So, I guess Magtheridon has too much Horde. WarcraftRealms is showing a shocking 1:67 Alliance:Horde ratio. Yikes!"
You can thank Nihilum and their moronic fanboys for that. Too bad Ensidia didn't switch servers, but I guess the zombies would have followed them there too.
It wasn't always that bad, though, Magtheridon used to have some excellent Alliance guilds, like Praemium Callidus (their PVE videos made by Zin are still the best around).

Complete waste of time and effort without any incentive
'Come to Magtheridon and get corpse camped outside raid instances!'
Not exactly a tempting offer...
Dawnrose Jan 15th 2009 11:34AM
Lol I want to be horde on that server :P
love that ratio lol.
Dightkuz Jan 15th 2009 11:40AM
It's actually alot lower than 1:67
Muse Jan 15th 2009 12:07PM
That's curious, I went to Wowwiki to take a look at the complete server list, and it says Boulderfist, among others, are located in Stockholm. I didn't know there were any data centres there. Recently moved?

1:67? only if you count all levels. Try only 80s.
Total Alliance: 46 - 1%
Total Horde: 6,953 - 99%
A to H Ratio: 1 : 151.2
46? ALL the allys can't even make 2 raids at a time :)
Come to magtheridon please! We need gnomes to gank!
Stephen Jan 15th 2009 12:34PM
Wow. Can you imagine what Wintergrasp is like on that server?
I don't think a tenacity buff could possibly scale high enough to counter that.
Endugu Jan 15th 2009 12:26PM
That's a ridiculous imbalance... 1:67... I really don't want to level up an alliance toon there!
Qax Jan 21st 2009 10:03AM
Just Imagine how many stacks of Tenency you would have in Wintergrasp
Todd Jan 15th 2009 12:34PM
Whats so wrong with servers with such high imbalances? I don't really care that there are more Ally on my server. In fact I'd rather there be none.
Exposure Jan 15th 2009 12:44PM
There more alliances on Silvermoon than horde on Magtheridon, believe me.
Amaxe Jan 15th 2009 12:46PM
Amazing:
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php?serverid=566&factionid=-1&minlevel=10&maxlevel=80&servertypeid=-1
372 Alliance total? Out of 25,366?
Even moving there seems like an exercise in futility...
Kypros Jan 15th 2009 1:00PM
1:67 Alliance to Horde, pfft. I'm an ally on Ravenholdt, according to WarcraftRealms ratio of Alliance to Horde levels 70-80 is 1 : 2.3.
I've been in Wintergrasp with tenacity stacked to 17 once.
Wish Blizz would do something about that.
Matazuma Jan 15th 2009 3:25PM
tenacity x17 must be what it feels like to be a god.

I wouldn't trust those census numbers as far as I could throw them. Yeah, the servers have problems but nowhere near as bad as those sites claim.
I've seen realm threads where the population of the guilds of people posting often adds up to more people than what those census sites claim one faction of the realm has.
AyaJulia Jan 15th 2009 1:23PM
Well, warcraftrealms.com can't really be blamed for faulty numbers; it just means they don't have as many samples as they can deem reliable. There's probably only one guy on the Alliance taking the census, and if he's not online, the characters who get online when he's gone don't get counted. Needs more volunteers. :)
Balgair Jan 16th 2009 11:11AM
In this case the census numbers aren't that far off - yes, they rely on player submissions but since this was mentioned a couple of us have checked up for ourselves, and yep, it's a huge imbalance. See http://www.warcraftrealms.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4162 for the discussion on WarcraftRealms' own forum - I just found only 65 Alliance online at 5pm server time, only 10 lvl 80s!
Ebiru Jan 15th 2009 3:04PM
It really is that bad, there are like 27 alliance total online around prime time and that's including gold spammers.
