Minor bugs to appear in patch 3.0.8
Eyonix posted a note about a few minor bugs that will appear when patch 3.0.8 goes live:- Ritual of Summoning can only be used once every two minutes.
- Human females have animation errors when shooting a ranged weapon or using two-handed weapons.
We'll get some video of the animation errors up on WoW Insider as soon as we can, I'm sure there's some potentially funny stuff there.
And don't bother asking if 3.0.8 is coming tomorrow. While we think it's definitely possible, god only knows what Blizzard will actually do. I give it a 80/20 chance that it drops tomorrow morning.

Interesting.. they are aware of bugs, but yet dont bother fixing them. Animation must be tricky, but ritual of summoning? Well, shows how much they care about warlocks :(((

Probably they are warning about the bugs -because- they are dropping the patch early, if nothing else to deal with the lag that is killing raiding on most servers.
...or at least that's my theory!

Well, they been killing warlock for 4 years now.. But oh well, few more months of PvP tears and bags full of shards wont change it that much then :D

I remember locks were pretty badass back when TBC first came out. Heck, first 70 on our server was a lock friend of mine.
I think they've been crushed beyond all recognition, though. Poor locks. :/

Good God, do you have no idea how Summoning Stones work?
I didn't even think it was possible to cry about such an asinine bug, but here we are.

@BladeeR
Killing locks for 4 years? Where were you when I was being curb checked by a lock in every other arena game? You guys were pretty much OP in TBC.
I don't even feel bad for you now. Spec Demonology, use Metamorphosis and win.

What dress is that lady wearing? I want it for my shaman!

Those are the Vestments of the Shifting Sands, or as I liked to called them, Vestments of the Screaming Fuschia Harlot. They drop in Aq20, off of the first boss.

You and me both!
That one would be great to add to my collection! (90+)

I hope it drops tomorrow. It's impossible to find other people willing to stay until Gotta Go! is complete, and it's the last one I need
:(

The MMO-Champion post you're getting this from is swearing up and down that they are pretty gosh darn sure it's coming tomorrow. They haven't done that before for this patch.
Adam Holisky Jan 19th 2009 7:20PM
We do not copy our news from MMO-Champion, nor does BB copy his news from us. We both religiously troll the forums for everything Blizzard says, and report on it as soon as is possible.
However with that said, it appears we're both somewhat confident that 3.0.8 will be tomorrow, he gives it a 90% chance, and I give it an 80% chance.
But we also both point out that Blizzard has a mind of their own, and therefor can never be sure on these things.

If they're announcing bugs that will be part of the patch, it means they're bugs found in the current build and they don't plan on pushing another one before it goes live.
I'd say 99% it's dropping tomorrow, or they'd be fixing the bugs in the next PTR patch rather than telling us they aren't.
mitch Jan 19th 2009 7:27PM
Wow... they're actually announcing bugs in a patch... just wow.
I'm almost speechless.
Cabcru Jan 19th 2009 7:35PM
Really? Almost speechless?
/e prays for more bug announcements.
I kid! I kid! ;)

You don't possess critical thinking skills.
talkingmike Jan 19th 2009 9:36PM
And just to pile on a little more...
Yes, there are bugs in this patch. And there were bugs in the last patch too. In fact, there are bugs in every patch.
Even better, there are bugs in every game.
Aw screw it, there are bugs in every single piece of software ever made.
Graham Jan 20th 2009 3:39PM
You make it sound like a bad thing. Every patch has bugs, so they might as well announce them if they know about them.
Fletch Jan 19th 2009 8:00PM
I agree that it would be fairly pointless to warn people about bugs if it wasn't going to drop in the very near future
Aubrecia Jan 19th 2009 8:38PM
I'm with Icculus. If they're announcing bugs that aren't going to be fixed before the patch hits, it means the patch is hitting soon and they won't be able to fix them. I'm praying that this means it hits tomorrow. I need my alc research change, and my mounts!
