WoW Insider Show Episode 73: Yes, Virginia, there is a Martin Thunder
Great show on the podcast this past weekend, if I may say so myself. We started off with a kickass intro from David over at Trekcast.com, and I think it set the tone well: we had Michael Sacco (a.k.a. onetime Blizzard GM Belfaire) on the show, and he revealed some great stories about what it's like to be on the other end of Blizzard's ticket system. Turpster was on with his wacky self as usual (along with some excellent Warrior insight), and we all talked about the most embarassing thing we've done in game, and how to know when you're ready to head off into Heroics, as well as the Death Knight changes coming up in the next patch. If you want to send us an intro or anything else, the address is theshow AT wow.com. You can listen to last weekend's show using the links below, and if you'd like to hear us live, definitely make plans to listen in next weekend: we record the show live every Saturday at 3:30pm Eastern / 20:30 GMT. Oh, and don't forget to become a fan of our site on Facebook -- we're almost 3/4 of the way to our goal of 4,000 fans, and if we can reach that goal, Turpster's promised us a brand new, exclusive song. Tell your friends!
Enjoy the show and have a great week. And if you're wondering who Martin Thunder is, here you go.

Whoever you can barely hear that is doing this interview, lrn2interview pls. Every single time we're about to get the answer to the question you ask, you ask another question and change the subject. Yeesh, talk about a frustrating listen...if you want to speed things up, do it by re-asking the same question another way so we can at least get some closure!

It's always nice to hear info about the inner workings of Blizzard.

I love the podcast, but you guys SERIOUSLY need some volume normalization. Mike is barely audible, and Turpster and Sacco are REALLY loud.

I remember the Sega CD and the Phillips CD-I! I didn't listen to the last podcast, but I thought best part of the joke was that it was a "Game Shark":

Mike's volume is ok. Nice and clear. The other guys should tune volume down a bit. I love when Mike says "Good times". I have watched only few eps and it seems to me that it is his "signature" phrase :D

I like the podcast, but get frustrated that Turp's mic seems to shut down the exchange between everyone else. I have no idea what the technical term is for it, but it feels like everyone else can talk freely to each other, overlapping and joining in as needed, but Turp's feed stomps all over everyone else, and no one can finish a sentence.
As for the newest voice on the podcast... Sacco has issues with women and gay men... work it out in therapy, not on the podcast....

I am glad I am not the only one that find the volume levels to be an issue. Mike is dead quiet, everyone else is a little too loud. Needless to say I end up missing half of what Mike says becuase I don't want to deafen myself when Turpster says something...
otherwise keep up the good work!
