3.0.8 maintenance extended to 1 PM PST

Sorry, folks. You'll have to wait just a little bit longer for 3.0.8. The new and stylish Launcher just informed us disappointed players that maintenance has been extended to 1 PM Pacific time.But don't let your anticipation get the best of you! In the meantime, why don't you read some of our other extensive 3.0.8 coverage and get yourself pumped for it, or do Alex's crossword? Idle hands, and all that.

Not surprised that it's delayed. New patch = new bugs to fix. Hopefully not a debacle like the last patch though when it was down all day

Just wondering....if the servers are down, does it extend the time your auctions are up by however long they were down?
Otherwise, my auctions would be ending around now and probably noone bought anything :(

No, your auctions are not extended; they expire at the same time they would have otherwise.

I totally KNEW they were going to do this! Total garbage. Hell, I'd be suprised if we get server up by 7pm EST.

If you dont like it, I'm sure you can always cancel your account. 9/10, Blizz will have the servers back online by the time you get home from work or class and have something to eat.
If you happen to be one of the poor folks that is stationed overseas, but still plays on the US servers, my deepest sympathies, b/c you guys really get the shaft.

OK!!! They knew it was patch day why not just say it up front that it would take longer. It always does on patch day!!! I am at work and can not play anyway...but geeez can they not tell from the past its better to say 10 hours and not 8....that way it looks good when they are done early!!!
