raiding newbie question. Now that I am decently geared enough that I am starting to get invited into guild and pug heroics, I find myself having trouble remembering which ones I have already done this week. is there an addon or method of tracking which ones you have/have not done since the last reset?

Heroics are one day cooldowns. If you can't remember the past 24 hours then your needs are being the scope of this forum. *grin*

"Beyond" the scope. Beyond. Perhaps I need help myself.

The best way I have found week to week is to look at your calendar, it will show you when the lockouts are up, and even if you forget what you did that week or are not sure if you did it before or after the last patch, it will always show on there on the day the lockouts are up.

look at the calender on your mini map. on a day you have something unlocking you will see it there. Its already built in to the game no addon needed

Open your raid tab, in the top corner is a raid info box - it'll list where your saved and for how long. I find the reset to happen at around 3am server time, personally.

If you take a look at the in-game calendar you can see that any Heroics you've already done unlock at 9:59AM.And, yes, I have had days where I've done so many heroics I forgot where I'd already been. It's handy to check the calendar before you jump into LFG.

You can look at the in game calendar. Just open it up and it will tell you when raids and heroics reset for you. If it says tomorrow Heroic Nexus resets for you you cna know you hav edone it today. If it says Tuesday 10man Vault resets you know that you have done it this week.

I'm sure everyone knows this, but thought I would mention for the original poster that heroics reset at 8am server (or at least on the U.S. server I play on). So if you are playing early on a weekend or in the middle of the day in the U.S. time zones, you can run into this as a blessing or a curse -- either you can run the same heroic before and after reset, or you can find yourself locked out before 8am server because you are thinking "but I ran this yesterday". The heroic daily quest seems to be one of those super early resets, they are not aligned with the 8am heroic resets.

Isn't there a /raidinfo command that shows you what raids your locked in to? I _believe_ that it would work for what you are wanting.

... you cant be seriouss... but oh well as far as i remember all you gotta do is open your raid window, then there is this button called raid info, it should tell you what heroics, raids you have done and when they reset

/Raidinfo and I believe the calender (top right on mini-map; click the number), also shows when your raids/heroics reset.
go to the raid tab from the social menu (O if you haven't changed it).there is a raid info tab that lists all of the raid IDs available. heroics are considered raids for the purposes of lockouts, so you can check each heroic/raid/heroic raid you have been saved to.

The in-game calandar keeps track of everything
