Every year I've done the Lunar Festival, I was able to talk to the Ghosts that I already talked to the year before and get the Reputation and Coins again.

So as long as nothing has changed, you can continue to talk to the elder ghosts again and keep getting Reputation and Coins when the Lunar Festival comes around.

But only once a year.
