You can summon on the inside with a lock though...seems like you should be able to with a stone.

Certainly, your quite right ofcourse.
What i meant was, originally summoning wasn't possible directly into instances, presumably, i figure, this was due to raid id complications.
We could assume that stones remain outside to fit in with existing design choices.
Alternatively it'spossible they keep the stones outside so that you can have people with conflicting raid id's still able to help you with summons without trashing the instance for everyone?
