This doesn't happen on my server since we're a pvp server. If you go afk out there at peak hours, you'll come back to find your corpse splattered on the ground a mile below after a mage, shammy, or druid knocks you off (or a tenacious dk that pulls you off then gets slowfall cast on him by a mage). Rather than people covering the stone, battles for control of the stone are what dictate how quickly you can summon everyone.
