And in other television news, we're told World of Warcraft made an appearance as a category on Jeopardy this week. We don't have video of that one (yet), but you can see a quick teaser over on Jeopardy's webpage that mentions the game as a category. World of Warcraft has of course appeared in the game show before as an answer, but this time around, there was a whole column of questions about it. If you see video anywhere online, let us know, and we'll add it here to the post.

That was the most natural and realistic mention of WoW I have seen on TV so far. Awesome!
Maybe he just said 'the new expansion' so non-WoW players would still have a basic inkling what the hell he's going on about there.

I have yet to have a wow conversation anything close to this. They usually go:
You play wow?
Yeah!
Alliance or Horde?
Always respond Alliance.

Season 3 of "how I met your mother" had an episode where the main guy (Ted), met a girl in WoW
She was a Drainei Pally and he was a half naked human (class wasn't obvious)
The toolbar looked like that of a Shammy oddly enough. But the Drainei was wearing plate.
I believe they were also STV.. near the southern part with all the Bloodsail pirates.

You can also add the Moonlight vampire TV show, cancelled after it' s first season where the main vamp is greatful to have lived long enough to get the Internet and World of Warcraft.
