I think this method is situational at best. It depends on who you've got in your group, what kind of mood you're in, how well your group is doing, etc. I think what Adam is trying to say here is that you should just keep your head down so to speak and do the job. Don't waste time being a goofus, don't annoy the crap out of your party members. Communicate clearly and concisely, and we can all get back to Dalaran that much faster.
