To be honest, I never saw the need for anyone but the leader of the group or raid to say anything but on vent but to explain the fight to come or the healers telling the DPS the stop grabing aggro.

If you know you role in the group or raid then communcation is never or rarely needed.

The silent bob healer would let the dps die, and knowledge would be gained. :-)
