The Guild, episode 9 now on MSN Video and Xbox Live

And the guildies definitely try their best -- they decide to take the night offline and split up the sexes, to... err... mixed results. Clara gets a little nuts with girls night out, and the guys also struggle to find something to do that doesn't involve signing into the game. Good times as always.
And just in case you missed it last week, The Guild shared some pretty important company on MSN Video on Inauguration Day. Say what you want about the Microsoft deal, but even when there's big news going down in real life, MS is keeping up their end of the promotion deal.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

ZOMG, ITS THE GUILD!
*thousands of cheering girls can be heard*
Once...I saw Felicia Day...in person! I have not blinked since in order to preserve her image on my eyes.

I'm willing to bet the tall hot chick is stunt man's manager. Clara will be polishing his Bo Staff before the end of the season.

.........and cue the haters.
Yes, it's a "The Guild" post. You can read that plainly in the title. If you don't like it, don't click on this post! It's that simple!

What's to hate? WoW Insider is a commercial site. It carries advertising. Simple as that.
Mike Schramm Jan 28th 2009 10:29AM
Just to make sure this is clear: WoW Insider does run advertising, but we do it in those little boxes around the site, not in the posts. We post about The Guild not because of any financial obligation, but because we're fans of the show and so are our readers.

Do you mean "Clara" or "Codex"? My money is on Codex getting together with the stunt man by the season's end! Clara is already married!

Felicia Day is interesting. The guild show is not. It needs better writing, more boobs, better geekiness.
Ezzy Jan 27th 2009 4:16PM
But Felicia Day writes the show...
Anywho, next week's show is gonna be really interesting. :-)

I've lost interest in this webshow since they sold out to Microsoft. It's the little changes that annoy me, like the fact that Tinkerballa's iMac has been replaced with a Windows PC and now every member of the guild has a giant Windows logo sticker plastered to the back of their monitor. C'mon guys! The plot has not been engaging this season and I think the whole show has taken that plunge down the slope of advertising, leaving the realm of art behind. That's my opinion anyway.

Tinkerballa's mac won't run Wrath and probably didn't run BC very well for that matter.
Glowblue Jan 28th 2009 2:20PM
Well, that's assuming that The Guild is playing WoW. The show never actually says that. It's safe to assume that the choice to remove the iMac was prompted by the Microsoft endorsement and not due to any creative attempt to keep the show realistic.
